Thieves stole 14 golf buggy batteries worth an estimated £20,000 after breaking into the driving range at Greetham Valley Golf Club.

The incident happened sometime overnight on Monday, 7 and Tuesday, 8 October.

The thieves forced out a fence panel to get onto the driving range at the Wood Lane golf club.

Four buggies were moved into Wood Lane where the batteries were ripped out. Ten more buggies also had their batteries stolen.

Damage to the buggies made them unusable and the estimated value of replacing the batteries is £20,000.
