Rutland County Council is amending the opening hours for branch libraries in Uppingham, Ketton and Ryhall to improve access to library services.

The change will see an extension of opening hours until 5.00pm, so that children and families can access library services after school.

At present, branch libraries close at 2.00pm. Opening hours at Oakham Library include Saturday mornings for families.

The new opening hours will be as follows:

Uppingham: Tuesdays from 10.00am-1.00pm and 2.00pm-5.00pm

Ketton: Thursdays from 10.00am-1.00pm and 2.00pm-5.00pm

Ryhall: Thursdays from 10.00am-1.00pm and 2.00pm-5.00pm

The change will take effect during the week of Monday 9 November.

Oakham Library will continue to open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.30am to 2.00pm and Saturday from 9.30am to 1.00pm.
