Thieves target Rutland Sailing Club...two nights running

Thieves targeted Rutland Sailing Club two nights running and in both incidents stole outboard motors.

The first theft happened at the Gibbet Lane compound in Edith Weston sometime between 2pm on Saturday, 5 and 9.10am on Sunday, 6 October.

Thieves cut fuel lines to steal two HP Mariner outboard motors from two boats moored to the jetty.

The next night thieves struck again and took a Suzuki DF60A outboard motor estimated to be worth £7,500 when new.
