You'll need to be up early to wave on BBC One Show presenter Matt Baker and his Children in Need Rickshaw Challenge team as they travel through Rutland tomorrow (Thurs).

The BBC has revealed the approximate timings so supporters can cheer on the pedalling fundraisers on Day 7 of their eight-day cycle challenge.

Tomorrow the riders - Matt and a team of six young people - will set off from Melton Mowbray at 6.30am, heading along the A606 to arrive at Langham at 8am.

They will then make their way through Oakham town centre - no timings have been given for this section of the journey, but Oakham Nub News would advise being there for 8am to avoid missing the team.

The rickshaw will then continue ot Manton, then along the A6003 through Preston to Uppingham to arrive at Caldecott around 10.35am.

It will then head out of Rutland on its way to its Day 7 final destination of Bedford via Geddington (12.20pm) and Finedon (2.30pm).

This year the Rickshaw Challenge has a new route, a new team, and a newly modified rickshaw, travelling 400 miles from Holyhead to London.

Fans of the challenge, which launched in 2011, will be able to look out for a smart new rickshaw design for 2019. After last year's new custom rickshaw built by a team of engineers at the McLaren Technology Centre, this year McLaren has created an innovative solution that means visually impaired and blind riders can take part in the challenge.

A recumbent guide-trike, which fixes to the front of the Rickshaw, allows steering and braking to be managed by a guide rider while a visually impaired rider pedals from the main rickshaw driving seat.

For every £1 donated by the public this year, The Hunter Foundation (THF) has pledged to give 40p, helping donations go even further in making a difference to young people's lives.
