Rutland County Museum are offering a fascinating exhibition exploring the history of greeting cards from the 1850s to the 1950s.
It includes over 100 Christmas and New Year cards, featuring humorous, novelty and traditional designs by some of the most significant early publishers. In addition, around 50 Valentine cards are also on show including some charming Victorian examples with paper lace and gilt decoration.
This free exhibition can be seen during the museum's opening hours of Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 10am - 4pm.
