Coronavirus crisis: Interactive map reveals where people have died

Three in Rutland appear to have died with coronavirus in the run-up to April 17, according to newly-released government data.

The Office of National Statistics has issued a breakdown of where people have died of the virus or died with the virus.

In total, three out of 59 deaths in Rutland over the period March 1 to April 17 are related to coronavirus.

The ONS data showed threre was one death in Oakham West, Whissendine and Langham.

Oakham East had one death.

There was also a death recorded in Uppingham, Lyddington and Braunston.

The ONS said that a small number of deaths were reallocated between neighbouring areas to protect confidentiality.

The figures do not include deaths of non-residents and are based on February 2020 boundaries.
