Tammi's Tearooms, ice-cream parlour, and the Veg Shed are relatively new additions to Greetham's cosy local pub, The Plough. Based in the rear garden of this venue, these recent ventures opened at the commencement of the summer holidays, and have quickly grown from strength to strength, offering teddy bear picnics, doggy treats and parties, and soon a Halloween event for the local families.

The ice-cream parlour did open nearly two years ago, but any success was scuppered due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so this expansion has been long anticipated. They are now open 7 days a week, with the tearoom itself serving light lunches such as sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes and pasties, as well as cakes, ice-creams, and cold drinks. The tearoom and garden are dog friendly and offer a dog friendly menu, so you can treat your furry friends too.

Their most recent event, the doggy tea party, attracted 35 four legged attendees and hosted a range of activities such as agility courses, ball pools, and giant footballs.

Amy, manager of the tearooms and Veg Shed said: "It was a pleasure to host such a fabulous event and something we will definitely be doing again. So many places are unable to offer such a party so it's lovely we can make use of our space in this way."

The event successfully raised over £1,000 for a group member in need of eye surgery.

Next on the agenda for this entrepreneurial community space is a Halloween party for this kids. The Children's Halloween party is on Tuesday 27th October at 12:30. In addition, a Halloween craft day is running on Sunday 31st October.

On top of this the tearooms will be offering a Halloween afternoon tea for kids throughout the October half term, extending the spook-tacular potential of this particular holiday.

Tammi's Tearoom also have a coffee morning on Monday 1st November at 10am with a drink and Muffin offer for £3.

Once again showing their true charity spirit, during the week of Remembrance day, Tammi's will be offering any serving or veterans a free hot drink.

In the meantime locals can make the most of the Veg Shed's home and locally grown fruit and vegetable selection, made even sweeter by the free delivery service offered by Amy and the team.

Alternatively, the tearoom offers their Breakfast Club, with unlimited tea and coffee alongside the purchase of a hot breakfast, so there is plenty to keep you full and happy this season over at The Plough, Greetham.
