The Wisteria Hotel, a charming restaurant and hotel set in a former 17th century hunting lodge, has put together a special menu to mark Father's Day, ideal for celebrating dads, grandads and father-figures with a beautifully cooked lunch.

Served from 12pm to 5pm on Sunday 21 June, the Father's Day menu comprises of a selection of comforting dishes and culinary delights, costing £29 for two courses or £35 for three.

The set menu begins with a variety of options to set on your appetite, including French onion soup, smoked haddock fishcake, a rustic caprese salad or ham hock and pistachio ballotine.

For main, they have their popular roast dinner with the option of topside British beef, chicken supreme, pork belly, a nut roast or (if you can't quite decide) a three meat roast. These will be served with roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips, seasonal greens, gravy and a Yorkshire pudding.

If you are fancying something a bit different, they also have the option of grilled swordfish steak, creamy Quattro Formaggio gnocchi, a choice of their popular Hunters burgers or a 20oz Rib eye on the bone.

Finally, to wrap up your meal, they have the choice of classic tiramisu, mango curd shortbread, rhubarb and apple crumble or a variety of ice creams and sorbets.

If you are feeling something savoury, there is also a cheeseboard with a curated selection of cheeses served with homemade chutney, biscuits and grapes.
