Oakham Nub News has joined forces with a regular reader to share a 'Cocktail of the Week' feature.

This week, Josh is back with a tropical-inspired tipple to get your tastebuds tingling - the Hawaiian Cooler

A cooler is traditionally a refreshing summer drink containing fruit juices, quality alcohol and ice, to keep things fresh.

Ingredients:

• 45ml vodka
• 25ml apple juice
• 10ml lime juice
• Teaspoon of simple syrup
• 40ml pineapple juice

Method:

1. Add all ingredients to a Boston shaker
2. Shake well with ice
3. Pour into a tumbler over ice to serve
4. Top up with a splash of soda water to make this a long summer drink
5. Enjoy responsibly!
