Oakham Nub News has joined forces with a regular reader to share a 'Cocktail of the Week' feature, including classics, reinventions of familiar favourites and some crazy concoctions unique to Nub News.

This week, Josh is bringing you a sweet and sour cocktail with a fruity tutti vibe! This tastes like pop, but it certainly packs a punch.

Ingredients:

  • 25ml spiced rum
  • 25ml amaretto
  • 25ml grapefruit juice
  • 25ml pineapple juice
  • squeeze of lemon juice
  • passionfruit

Method:

  1. put all of your liquid ingredients into a shaker with ice
  2. add half of the flesh of the passionfruit - save the other half!
  3. shake over ice until chilled
  4. strain carefully into a glass over a few ice cubes
  5. garnish with the other half of your passionfruit

Check out our other Cocktail of the Week features by heading to the search bar at the top of the page and typing in 'Cocktail', allowing you to view the whole gallery of our popular weekly creations.
