Oakham Nub News has joined forces with a regular reader to share a 'Cocktail of the Week' feature.

This week, Josh is bringing you a refreshing and fruity cocktail perfect to keep it light as the Christmas indulgence begins: the Snow Breeze.

This is inspired by the popular summer time cocktail, the Sea Breeze, with a base of cranberry and grapefruit juice - but with a festive twist.

Find out how to make it below...

Ingredients:

  • 25ml cranberry juice
  • 25ml grapefruit juice
  • egg white or 25. -50ml aqua faba - the juice from a tin of chickpeas
  • 25ml amaretto
  • 25ml tequila
  • topped up with soda water if you prefer a long drink

Method:

  1. add your egg white or aqua faba and all wet ingredients to a shaker
  2. shake hard for 30 seconds
  3. add ice and shake for a further 30 seconds to make a really good foam
  4. strain into a long tumbler
  5. top up with soda water or lemonade if you prefer a long drink

Enjoy!

Check back next week for another Cocktail of the Week, shared each Friday to get the weekend going.
