Oakham Town Council are still looking to appoint a new Clerk following the resignation of the former position holder.

Salary will be between £32,909 - £39,493 per annum.

You will:

  • ideally be CILCA qualified
  • have management experience
  • have financial experience 
  • work 20 - 30 hours per week
  • act at the Responsible Finance Officer

Dental Nurse

{my}Dentist in Barleythorpe are looking to appoint a Dental Nurse on a full-time basis.

Salary will be £10.70 per hour.

You will:

  • check patient notes in the morning
  • set up surgeries for the day, from checking equipment and disinfecting surfaces to preparing instrument trays
  • greet patients and work with dentists in treatment by providing instruments, or even just chatting with the patients during procedures
  • advise patients on consent forms, procedures, and basic oral healthcare post-treatment
  • undertake stock-takes and close down surgeries at the end of the day

Multiple roles at The Lord Nelson

The Lord Nelson in Oakham is holding a recruitment day on Wednesday 7 June.

From 3pm until 7pm, residents will be able to drop in to find out about roles available at the market place venue.

The Lord Nelson, formerly of Knead Pubs, is a Red Cat Company pub located in the centre of Oakham. 

The venue is a traditional pub with character features and a classic pub menu, with the addition of pizzas.

Now, they are looking to recruit new front of house and kitchen positions, as well as limited roles in management. 

Interested parties can pop in for a chat, coffee or soft drink on Wednesday 7 June. There is no need to book.
