A big thank you to our readers and contributors

26th Nov 2021 | Local News

Gratitude seems to be becoming an increasingly outdated sentiment.

But at Nub News we believe saying 'thank you' is important.

We're now in our 11th week since launching five hyper-local websites for Oakham, Stamford, Bourne, The Deepings and Grantham.

If you remember, we were chuffed to bits to notch up 19,000 page views in the first five weeks.

So you can imagine how happy we are to report that in the last five-and-a-half weeks we've had just shy of 54,000 page views across the five sites.

And that's why I feel it is important to say thank you.

Thank you to our readers, for investing your time to visit our websites and read our news stories and articles.

And thank you to our ever-increasing family of 'Nubbers', who consistently contribute interesting, relevant and well-read content and event listings.

If you are reading this and have something you want to share with your community about your organisation, charity, business, church, school or sport's team we'd love to hear from you.

Nub News is unique in that it lets you self-publish using the Nub It buttons found on the home page for news and what's on page for events listings. It's quick, easy and, of course, free.

All submitted content is moderated before going live by our experienced team of journalists - no fake news guaranteed.

So, visit your hyper-local Nub News website, have a look around and maybe you - or an organisation you are associated with - will have something to contribute.

If you want any advice or guidance about self-publishing or want to talk to me about a news story then don't hesitate to e-mail [email protected] or call 07803 723233.
