A1 faces overnight road closures in Rutland and Lincolnshire

Parts of the A1 in the Grantham area will be closed overnight from Monday.
Highways England will be working 8pm-6am Monday to Friday with diversions in place.
South Kesteven District Council has published the schedule on social media.
Phase 1: A1 northbound Monday 11 Jan – Friday 29 Jan. Closure between Stamford and Grantham. Diversion route via A606 and A607.
Phase 2: A1 southbound Monday 01 Feb – Tuesday 9 Feb. Closure between Newark and Grantham. Diversion route via the A46 and A52.
Phase 3: A1 northbound Wednesday 10 Feb – Friday 19 Feb. Closure between Grantham and Newark. Diversion route via the A52 and A46.
Phase 4: A1 southbound Monday 22 Feb – Thursday 4 March. Closure between Grantham and Stamford. Diversion route via A607 and A606.
