A bench has been stolen from Oakham Baptist Church.

It appears that the bench went missing between 8:20 and 9pm last night, Thursday 4 May 2023.

Tom Bowring, minister at Oakham Baptist Church, said: "One of our lovely benches we bought for people to sit and chill on has been taken.

"If it was you or your friends please bring it back. If someone you know has miraculously gained one of these over night, drop us a message."

This comes as the team from OBC announce their free community party, set to take place in Cutts Close this month to celebrate the 250th birthday of the church.

The celebrations are set to take place on 28 May from 12 - 4pm.

Find out more about the free, family-friendly party here.

Alternatively, if you have any information about the bench, contact the OBC team on Facebook.
