Celebrate Rutland’s local artisans and creatives at this fabulous local Makers’ Market

Springboard Arts have organised another brilliant Makers' Market, celebrating Rutland's artisans and creatives. 

The market will give attendees the opportunity to discover some of the talented individuals that sew, sculpt, paint and bake beautiful goods. 

The event will take place at Uppingham Town Hall on Sunday 13 April between 11am to 3pm.  

The organisers, Springboard Arts, said: 'Don't miss this lovely shopping opportunity in Rutland. 

'Local artisans display their beautiful items – an idea opportunity to buy birthday gifts or even early Christmas presents.' 

They have a great variety of artisans lined up, including: 

  • The Elegant Gem - gem stone jewellery 
  • Glenys Sandham - wet felted pictures and bowls 
  •  Valnød Designs - hand woven textiles 
  • Silver Moon - silver clay jewellery 
  • Helen Randall - hand-sewn textiles 
  • Helen Chadband - art works and ceramics 
  • Dave the Box - wooden goods 
  • Nadia Rose Makes - handmade leather gifts 
  • Peacock Handmade - fragranced soy candles 
  • Howard Smith - watercolour paintings 
  • Fran Lezerri Murano - glass jewellery 
  • Circa Flora - handmade paper flowers 
  • Katharine Anderson - macrame 
  • Springboard Arts - handmade cards and textile gifts 

Springboard Arts also hold regular bespoke workshops, such as 'craft and chat' ideal for families and friends and 'families get crafty'.
