Victoria Hall will host the cooking demonstrations.

As part of the Rutland Food & Drink Festival on Sunday 26th March 2023, Rutland residents are in for a treat as celebrity chef Phil Vickery has been booked to host two cooking demonstrations in the Victoria Hall.

The Rutland Food & Drink Festival, which is a free community fair, is an annual event that takes place every March in and around Oakham Castle.

There will be stalls inside Oakham Castle, in the Castle Grounds, on the Market Place and along Mill Street and the High Street, including:

  • cheese
  • pies
  • soft and alcoholic drinks
  • sweet treats
  • hot and cold street food
  • and much, much more...

The main attraction this year though will be the addition of celebrity chef, Phil Vickery, who will host two cooking demonstrations in the heart of Oakham in Victoria Hall.

Phil will be using local produce from in and around Rutland to display his cooking prowess and to teach his attendees how to unlock their master chef.

Phil Vickery has worked on ITV's This Morning for over a decade (image courtesy of Carolyn-Acton Reed).

The demonstrations will take place 12pm and 2pm and will be approximately 50 minutes long.

Tickets are £10 per person, they are limited to 150 per session and are available online.

This would make a great Christmas present, so think to the future and secure a ticket or two for your loved one, whether they are a home-cooking-pro or complete novice!
