Christmas has come early to discount retailer QD – QualityDiscounts.com in Oakham, as the store celebrates its first year of trading in the town.

QD in Oakham has this week unveiled its new great value Christmas ranges in time for the store's birthday celebrations.

The store, located on Church Street, employs 13 full and part-time members of staff.

QD Oakham's festive offering includes indoor and outdoor lights from the Astralis range, which are exclusive to QD and feature LEDS that are said to be 75% more energy efficient than conventional lights.

Also exclusive to QD is soft furnishings brand Hamilton McBride, with products said to rival the quality of other home brands but at QD's value guaranteed prices.

The gift ranges promise something for everyone, including big brands, priced at under £5, under £10 and under £20.

There's is also QD's toy range, and for furry friends, there's Scallywags pet store full of festive treats, toys and essentials.

Furthermore, the store also promises family favourites on food and confectionery, plus indoor furniture.

New for 2020, as part of QD's commitment to responsible retailing, the group has also introduced a new range of eco-friendly gift wrap made from 100% recycled materials.
