Coronavirus crisis: Rutland-based summer arts festival goes online

A popular summer arts festival has gone online because of the pandemic.

Rutland-based Tolethorpe Youth Drama has announced the programme, which will run from August 5 to August 11.

The event promises a range of masterclasses and workshops led by top professionals from the world of performing arts and have been specifically designed for Tolethorpe Youth Drama.

They cover musical theatre, film and tv, character work, comedy, dance, secrets of costumes, storytelling, circus skills and voiceover work.

Actors taking part include Nicky Adams from the West End, Steven Pinder from Wicked, Paul Cleveland, Peterborough-born Luke Pasqualino, Joel Beckett from Eastenders, plus comedienne Janice Connolly.
