Coronavirus crisis: Rutland reaches milestone with confirmed case numbers

Rutland reached a major milestone today as one case of coronavirus was recorded.
The county now has a new total of 100 confirmed cases, which remains well below the national average based on population.
The county has a rate of 251.9 cases per 100,000, which compares with an English average of 462.7 cases per 100,000 based on its total of 259,022 cases.
Official UK government figures also reported no new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Greater Lincolnshire on Tuesday, however, government figures show three extra deaths in the county.
Rutland also remained at 15 deaths.
The government's dashboard shows no new cases across Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire.
However, two new deaths have been registered in the North Lincolnshire postcode bringing the total to 106 and another has been confirmed in North East Lincolnshire with the tally now reaching 36.
Lincolnshire stayed level at 315, meaning there have been 457 deaths recorded by the government in Greater Lincolnshire.
The figure above includes not only the 438 deaths in hospitals and care homes, which saw no increases earlier today, but also deaths in the community or in hospitals outside the regions boundaries.
So far there have been 3,452 cases across Greater Lincolnshire, which break down as:
2,504 in Lincolnshire (no change)
733 in North Lincolnshire (no change)215 in North East Lincolnshire (no change)
Across the UK, cases rose by 581 to 300,692.
Lincolnshire's 2,504 total is equivalent to a rate of 331.3 cases per 100,000.
In nearby districts, South Kesteven remains at 411 cases (289.7 per 100,000).
South Holland remains at 711 (756.5).
Melton remains at 175 (342.5).
Peterborough increased six to 1,430 (711.3).
And as reported earlier, Rutland increased by one to 100 (251.9).
There were 119 deaths confirmed nationally, bringing the total to 45,878.
Other figures on the government's dashboard today show South Kesteven has suffered 59 deaths, Rutland 15, South Holland 64, Melton 17, Peterborough 103 and Leicestershire 440.
