9th Jun 2020 | Local News

A website is being created by Rutland County Council as part of its efforts to help businesses as they re-open.

The county council is working with both Uppingham and Oakham Town Councils on the website and on helping both towns re-open their high streets.

The site will tell people which shops are open, and any safety measures in place. People with a high street shop / business, are asked to help by completing this survey today.

In the meantime, businesses across Rutland are also welcome to enter their details into the Local List for Oakham Nub News, where it says 'Nub it.'

The free service already helps promotes numerous Rutland businesses.

Businesses with a good business story to tell about how they have survived lockdown, have made radical changes because of it, or they are opening for the first time are also urged to email their details to [email protected] .
