By The Editor 18th Mar 2020

Events are being cancelled at the Rutland Showground in Oakham, including the annual Rutland Show.

David Wood and Kevin Tighe, chairman and CEO of the Rutland Agricultural Society have posted on the show's website:

"After careful consideration it has been decided to cancel the 2020 Rutland County Show. The Rutland Agricultural Society will be contacting all those involved to minimise the impact of this decision."

Other cancelled events at the showground include the April 9-13 James Richard Circus, the May 2 'For Rutland' Run and

the June 20-21 Guildhall Antiques Fair.
