Cottesmore AFC added a little shine to their performance – after celebrating the start of a new two-year sponsorship deal.

The team beat Ashby, 3-0, at Westray Park on Saturday, following the ceremony to mark the start of the partnership with local valeting and detailing business, Wax On, Wax Off.

Before the game the owner of Wax On, Wax Off, Rob Carson, presented Cottesmore manager Rich Giblin with a brand-new Nike kit.

Rob, whose company is main sponsor the First XI, spoke of his delight at being able to support local, grassroots football.

The Under-11s team, for which Rob's son plays, were mascots for the occasion.
