The Rutland-based football club, Cottesmore AFC, is appealing for information after their ground was vandalised only a matter of weeks after thieves broke in.

On Tuesday 3 January, members of the club found graffiti sprayed on two huts, the second time this has happened over a 2 month period.

In early November, graffiti was found on the pitch and paving, while the inside of another hut was also damaged.

Disappointed to say we have had more visitors breaking into the club and vandalising our equipment. We found this before a training session last night. If anyone has any information please do contact the club, it will be kept in strict confidence. Police have been informed… 👮🏻‍♂️ pic.twitter.com/3ySrB0BviF

The clubs said: "Disappointed to say we have had more visitors breaking into the club and vandalising our equipment. We found this before a training session last night. If anyone has any information please do contact the club, it will be kept in strict confidence. Police have been informed…"

The '1up' tag seen in the images shared by the club on Twitter was seen in both incidents.
