Rutland County Council is currently recruiting for three occupational therapist positions and calling on candidates to apply now.

The council, which is regularly identified as a leading health and adult social care service provider, is looking for applicants with previous occupational therapist experience, ideally in a community, hospital or adult social care setting.

Jane Mold, Adult Social Care Occupational Therapist Practice Consultant, said: "I currently lead the Therapy Service here at Rutland County Council, where we've been able to challenge the traditional approach to therapy and create a really exciting working environment for our staff.

"Working for a local council can be a really positive move for any therapist, at any stage of their career.

"We provide staff with all the help and support they need to develop and progress, professionally. We also work hard to provide the best possible treatment for our service users and are always looking at ways to be innovative."

All three roles provide a competitive salary and structured payment reviews, as well as a number of additional benefits, including enrolment into the local government pension scheme, discounted access to Active Rutland keep fit activities and flexitime.

Councillor Alan Walters, Cabinet Member for Health and Adult Social Care, says: "This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an incredibly important position that allows you to make a genuine difference to the lives of a huge range of people.

"As an employer, the council is very supportive. We understand the importance of our staff, and invest heavily in our team to ensure that they have the right skills to not only deliver exceptional care but develop and progress professionally too."

"If you're a health and social care professional looking to grow your skills in an innovative environment we'd love to hear from you – so please get in touch and apply now."
