Drop-in vaccinations available in Rutland as roll-out tops 40,000

More than 40,000 Covid-19 vaccinations have taken place at the Rutland Covid vaccination Centre in Oakham.

Rutland Health says this includes includes over 22000 first vaccinations, with over 18000 people receiving full protection with the second dose.

This week, the primary care network is running further clinics at the offices of Rutland County Council at Catmose.

This week's clinics are pre-booked first and second dose Pfizer clinics Tuesday 6 July and Wednesday 7 July, 08:30-17:00.

Patients are asked to book a slot using one of the following methods:

Using the link that should have been sent to your mobile phone as a text message (SMS). (preferred)

Emailing [email protected] giving your name, date of birth and mobile phone number, and NHS number if possible.

Phoning your GP Surgery between 14:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday.

Rutland Health says there are also some walk in slots available without booking for people over 18 who live in Rutland or who are patients of one of the four Rutland GP practices, as Nub News reported yesterday.

These are primarily for people needing their first dose of Pfizer vaccine.
