The team at Rutland Farm Park are launching a new campfire and woodland experience this summer.

The Uppingham Road family attraction will see the woodland area of the farm open up this summer, including a new campfire attraction every Tuesday.

Headed up by owners and hands-on managers Clive and Julie, the farm has been a top spot for grownups and children since it reopened in 2017 after being closed for over a decade.

It brags a range of attractions and features, including a café, play park, animal petting and feeding sessions, a selection of home and handmade and allergy-friendly goodies available at Daphne's tea room, seasonal activities and a collection of rare breed animals.

Now, every Tuesday throughout the summer, you can join the team in the woodland area for marshmallows and dampers on the campfire from 11am until 2pm. No booking needed - just turn up!

On top of this, as of Monday 24 July, the farm will be open every day of the week throughout the summer holidays.

The team shared on their social media: "There are lots of fun activities happening over the summer holidays, so make sure you pop in for a visit.

"Renovation work is still on the go so please continue to bear with us."

The team said: "Lots of exciting things to come this year, but whilst we renovate - which will take some time - we have made a temporary sign board. This should hopefully help you find everything you need to find."

The farm is now open Monday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.

Tickets can be purchased on the door, or pop to Daphne's tea room without paying entry for a coffee, cake, ice-cream and more. Family and season tickets are also available to purchase online

Parking is free, and you can purchase extras like animal feed on the day for only £1 per bag – just be sure not to feed the horses.
