Oakham's Mill Street shopping hub has a new resident: one that promises to pamper, empower and make residents feel like their most radiant self. Etta Lingerie & Nightwear opened its doors on Saturday 20 January, offering a treasure trove of luxurious lingerie, cosy nightwear and a whole lot of confidence-boosting magic.

Local blogger and photographer, Martin Brookes, wrote: "Stepping into Etta is like entering a boudoir dream. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with soft lighting, delicate fabrics, and a touch of vintage charm. Owner Hetty Arnold has poured her passion for lingerie and empowerment into every detail, creating a space where women can feel comfortable, celebrated, and expertly guided towards finding the perfect pieces to make them feel amazing.

"Etta's offerings go far beyond just beautiful lingerie. Hetty, a fully trained bra fitting expert, provides complimentary fittings to ensure every woman finds the perfect size and style for their unique shape and needs. This commitment to personalised service and finding the right fit sets Etta apart, ensuring every customer leaves feeling confident and comfortable in their own skin.

"But Etta is about more than just getting the perfect bra. It's about celebrating and nurturing the inner goddess in every woman. Throughout the year, Hetty will be hosting a variety of events designed to empower and inspire. From confidence-boosting talks with a glass of bubbly to modelling workshops and even empowerment shoots, Etta is a haven for women to rediscover their inner strength and beauty."

After attending the launch event, where local business owners and intrigues locals came to find out more about the new shop, Mr Brookes added: "Etta's shelves are adorned with a curated selection of mid to high-end lingerie and nightwear, much of it handmade by talented independent designers. This dedication to supporting local artisans and offering unique, ethically sourced pieces is another touch that makes Etta truly special.

"And for the bride-to-be, Etta has a special treat in store. A selection of exquisite bridal lingerie and robes awaits, ready to make your big day even more beautiful and unforgettable."

Hetty's vision for Etta is simple: to create a space where women can feel empowered, beautiful, and celebrated. "If you've felt a little like you've lost yourself recently," she says, "come and see me and let's find a set suited to you." It's an invitation that goes beyond the lingerie; it's an invitation to rediscover your inner light and embrace the radiant woman you are.

So, whether you're looking for the perfect lingerie set, a confidence boost, or simply a delightful escape into the world of boudoir bliss, Etta Lingerie & Nightwear is waiting to welcome you with open arms (and a glass of bubbly!).
