The Greetham Gathering returned with a bang this week despite roadworks going on in the usually-sleepy Rutland village.

On 18 May, the Greetham Gathering was back for the first time this year, and the classic care meet welcomed a huge range of cars, bikes, trucks and lorries and their enthusiastic owners.

The Greetham Gathering is a monthly car meet that takes place once a month from May until September, welcoming classic cars, bikes and novelty vehicles from Rutland, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and the surrounding areas.

Once a month, the sleepy village becomes a hive of activity as a selection of loved and looked after vintage and classic vehicles roll into town and converge at Greetham Community Centre.

There is also a hot food stall and bar, and the facilities at the Community Centre are open and available.
