For Rutland Good and New Clothes sale raises record-breaking £57k
By Grace Kennington 30th Mar 2026
This year's For Rutland Good and New Clothes Sale has surpassed previous years fundraising totals, bringing in £57,000 to fund two advisors for Citizens Advice Rutland.
On Friday 27 and Saturday 28 March, For Rutland were back at Rutland Hall Hotel with their popular 2-day sale of beautifully curated pre-loved clothes.
This year's sale raised £4,000 more than last year, with the For Rutland team delighted at the outcome.

Entirely run by a brilliant team of volunteers, the Good and New Clothes Sale is a popular annual event that provides a large proportion of the funds needed to pay for two advisors at Citizens Advice Rutland.
Citizens Advice Rutland is an important local charity that provides non-medical advice to people in Rutland and the surrounding community living with long-term health conditions.
Volunteers have been working hard for the last three months, checking, sorting, mending and organising thousands of beautiful garments, shoes and accessories, which were all donated by local people.
Next year's sale will mark the 60th Good and New Clothes Sale with the For Rutland team already planning to raise even more money than this year.
The For Rutland team are grateful for the support for local businesses and individuals, including Hambleton Hall Hotel, Ron Grant Removals, John Porter Dry Cleaning, Cavells, The Falcon Hotel and All Saints Hairdressers.
