Four-legged athletes compete at Rutland Showground dog agility festival

Between 7th and 10th August, Rutland Showground is home to The Kennel Club International Agility Festival, with thousands of dogs and owners from across the UK and around the globe competing.
The Kennel Club welcomes dogs of all size, shapes and breeds to join in over the four-day competition, with over 2,500 handlers and their dogs putting their best paw forward in these popular agility competition.
Whilst entries for this year's competition has closed, spectators and their dogs are invited to come and soak up the atmosphere, enjoy world-class displayed and learn more about agility – for free.
Dogs and their humans will compete in four categories (small, medium, intermediate, and large), across 18 rings and 250 different classes.
Catherine Guiver, Head of Events at The Kennel Club, said: "We're thrilled to welcome thousands of four-legged competitors from across the globe to the 2025 International Agility Festival, especially as we celebrate the event's 20th anniversary. Whether you're beginning your agility journey, a seasoned competitor or you just want to find out more and enjoy a day out, there's something for everyone – all within a fantastic atmosphere both in and around the rings.
