A local escape room has launched a free 'Oakham Town Treasure Hunt' for Rutland residents to complete over the Easter break, with one lucky family set to win a free game at One Way Out.

With over 650 five star reviews and ranked the #1 Fun Thing to do in the area, the locally-run escape room experience hosts nine different 75-minute escape room experiences - and this Easter, has added another fun challenge to keep local families entertained.

One Way Out Escape Rooms, based on Oakham's Long Row, is hosting a free and family-friendly treasure hunt around Oakham over the Easter holidays.

Using the popular location system, what3words, owner Tessa has created a walking treasure hunt suitable for families, adults, couples and solo adventurers to complete this Easter.

The hunt should take approximately an hour, although Tessa encourages users to take a break in one of Oakham's many independent cafés or pubs along the way.

It is open until 5pm on Sunday 14 April, and you can do it any time of the day or night, "if you must", Tessa laughed.

The hunt is free and all successful hunters will be entered into a draw for one free game at One Way Out, ROL House, Long Row.

Keep your eye on the site's Facebook page on the evening of 14 April, when the draw will take place to find out who will be the lucky winner of the free game at the venue - which is a Bullseye Awards Nominee for Best Escape Room and Employee of the Year.

You can print your copy of the competition hunt here.

Alternatively, find out more on the One Way Out website.
