A funfair is rolling into Oakham this week.

As the summer holidays continue, a travelling funfair will be arriving in Oakham's Cutts Close this week to keep the kids - big and small - entertained!

Starting on Wednesday 16 August, the fun will continue until Saturday, which will be the last day for Oakham locals to enjoy the temporary attraction.

Residents will be able to enjoy stalls, games, snacks, sweet treats and a range of thrilling rides at the John Holland & Son Family Funfair.

Rides this year will include dodgems, Insomnia, Energiser and the ever popular funhouse.

The fair will be open:

Saturday from 1pm

It has also been confirmed that the James Richards Circus will be back in Oakham, at Rutland Showground, in October.
