Oakham United Charities have small grants available to students in Rutland doing a vocational course, apprenticeship and university course.

Each year, the charity awards grants from the Henry Foster Apprenticeship Fund to help students living in Oakham and Barleythorpe, and from the Rutland Society of Industry Fund to students living in the rest of Rutland.

This grant is available to students age 16 to 22 that live in Rutland and are undertaking an apprenticeship, vocational training or university course.

For those that meet those criteria, they can apply for a grant of up to £100 to help towards the cost of books for your course or other supplies that can help towards an apprenticeship or work placement.
