Iconic Rutland 3-piece Rockabilly band The Houndogs will be kicking off the summer's live music session at Cutts Close Park in Oakham.

Organised by Oakham Town Council, The Houndogs will be holding a free concert from 2.30 on 21 June.

Comprised of three brothers, Robert, Ian and David Wilson, The Houndogs are best known for their energy, stage presence, iconic stunts and unique performance style.

They perform a mix of their own songs along with covers of the classics, like Elvis, Buddy Holly and The Stray Cats.

This free event is open to all members of the public, with local people invited to bring a picnic or camping chair and enjoy the show.
