Rutland residents only have this weekend to enjoy the annual Rutland Open Studios event that has been taking place throughout September.

Rutland Open Studios is a flourishing community of artists, crafts people and designer-makers working throughout Rutland and surrounding counties. Their aim is to help bring artists and local people together, which they do each year with their Rutland Open Studios art trail in and around the county.

Chair of the event said: "This is the 16th year that artists from Rutland and neighbouring counties have opened the doors of their studios and exhibition spaces to the public, to give an insight into the creative processes involved in making art.

"When planning your Open Studios visits, please check the brochure for opening times of individual artists as they do vary.

"We look forward to welcoming you to our studios."

The full brochure of artists, studios and locations is available on the Rutland Open Studios website.
