Rutland artist runs her age for Age UK - and says it's almost finished her off!

Rutland resident Sarah Hatherill has been taking part in the Run Your Age Age UK Challenge, which she says is "thankfully coming to an end".

Sarah of Well Street Studio in Langham, says she has aching calves, a blister and even the dog is broken.

Even more annoyingly her socially distanced running buddy has not suffered likewise.

They never made top of the hill this morning (which they had been doing) as new trainers had rubbed another hole in Sarah's ankle and the dog was exhausted from a long walk the day before.

Sarah has got about 12k left to go. The only thing keeping her motivated is her brill buddies who've been sponsoring her.

If anyone else can chuck a tenner in the "hat" it would really make her day.

All the money goes to pay for the running of call centres at AgeUK which supports grandparents and parents who aren't lucky enough to have family support like we do ...
