The team at Oakham's Tesco are on the hunt for Easter eggs to donate to local charities and care homes this spring.

The Oakham branch of the supermarket chain is once again stepping up in support of local charities to make the festive season a good one for local people - following their previous campaigns for winter coats, in support of Ukrainian refugees and other important causes.

This Easter, they are collecting chocolate eggs on behalf of:

  • Oakham Hospital
  • Rutland House Community Trust

They will also be gifting donated eggs to Oakham Care homes across the area.

The drop off point in store is a brightly coloured trolley, located at the exit of the supermarket.

The team have thanked locals for their continued support: "Thank you so much as always for your donations and support."
