This April, local young artists are being celebrated at a month-long exhibition being hosted by Rutland County Museum.

Rutland is a popular spot for artists of all ages, but this month the spotlight is being firmly shone upon the talented youth of the county in an exhibition being hosted by Rutland County Museum in the county town of Oakham.

The artwork on display has been produced by young artists from the age of 11 to 18 years, and includes both 2D and 3D works of art.

This exhibition is produced by Arts For Rutland, a Registered Charity committed to leading, promoting and supporting the arts in Rutland. It consists of a small volunteer committee that aims to be representative of the county's arts organisations and various creative disciplines.

The team frequently host cinema events at the museum, as well as other creative and cultural events across the county.

The usual displays at Rutland County Museum will be open as usual throughout. Image credit: Nub News.

The exhibition is on display at Rutland County Museum and it is free to visit both the museum and the exhibition.

This collection of art work from Rutland's young up and coming artists will be on display until Saturday 29th April.
