Take a look inside Oakham's Tesco superstore as updates continue.

Works taking place in-store have been going on since October 2022, when the first of the cold deli counters was removed and temporary pallets of goods took their place.

More freezers have been added in the centre of the store.

Since then, the hot counter has also been removed, meaning the end of a long history of rotisserie chicken and warm food goods for the Oakham-based store. 

Now, flowers have been located where the hot deli counter used to be, and more shelves have been added to the far right hand wall of the store.

Cold shelves have been added next to the bakery, creating a space reminiscnet of a charcuterie board.

As well as adding a whole new bank of self-service counters, the store has removed a number of tills manned by checkout staff.

Next to arrive in store will be a Yo Sushi counter.

More counters at the rear of the store are waiting to be filled.

Changes being made to the Oakham Tesco superstore are expected to be completed by 20 February 2023.
