A man has been arrested after a quantity of Class A drugs were found inside a vehicle in Oakham.

Whilst on patrol in Rutland, police stopped a "suspicious vehicle" in the centre of Oakham last Saturday night.

Following a search, officers found a quantity of Class A drugs concealed within the car and the driver was arrested for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

The investigation is ongoing.
