Rutland & Stamford Sound have a range of volunteer positions available for those within the Rutland and Stamford community.

Rutland & Stamford Sound CIC are a community interest company broadcasting news, music and more to the local community via their online radio station.

The radio station was set up in September 2020 with support from Rutland County Council

Project Manager and Breakfast Presenter is local legend, Rob Persani. With Rob's enthusiasm, experience, audience loyalty and knowledge of the area, the station has got off to a strong start - but they are always building on their successes.

Their aim is to adapt and continue to grow in a financially sustainable way that means they will be here to support the Rutland and Stamford area for many years to come.

As a part of this, they are currently recruiting a team of Community Ambassadors who will help Rutland & Stamford Sound reach a wider audience while strengthening links with communities in the local area.

The Community Ambassadors will be responsible for promoting Rutland & Stamford Sound in the area they live, and for acting as a local news source.
