New RF2 bus service timetable to launch in January

Local News by The Editor 16th Dec 2019

An updated timetable for Rutland's RF2 bus service is being introduced in January to help reduce delays and improve reliability for passengers.

RF2 connects Oakham with Melton Mowbray - stopping at Burley, Exton, Greetham, Cottesmore, Barrow, Market Overton and Teigh, in Rutland.

Rutland County Council has being working with operator Centrebus to address recent punctuality issues along the RF2 route, with traffic in the Melton area preventing the service from reaching a number of scheduled stops on time.

A revised timetable for the RF2 will come into effect from Monday 27 January, with minor changes to some arrival and departure times to improve overall punctuality across the service.

Updated timetables can be collected from Oakham Bus Station, Rutland libraries and on board the RF2 bus.

They are also available from Rutland County Council's offices, by emailing [email protected], calling 01572 722577 or by clicking on the red button below.
