An Oakham-based dating expert has been recognised in an international guide featuring businesses and companies.

Michelle Begy, who Founded Ignite Dating, has been included in a guide highlighting the top client advisers and service providers released by the international group, Spear's 500.

Established just weeks before the Coronavirus pandemic took hold, Ignite Dating has quickly grown into one of the largest matchmaking and introduction agencies in the UK.

A spokesperson for the group said they had noticed a trend where "young people wanted to be more prescriptive as to what they wanted in a partner".

In an effort to fill this gap, founder and matchmaker Michelle Begy uses a specialist methodology to find suitable matches for her "elite clients". Her processes involve using the renowned Myers-Briggs personality profiling test, identity verification and exclusive headhunting to find compatible partners for her clients.

As a result, Oakham-based Michelle was recently named a Top Recommended Matchmaker by The Spear's 500.

The latest print edition of The Spear's 500 was recently released and features more than 2,000 data-driven profiles of advisers and companies covering all aspects of a high-net-worth life. 

Rankings by Spear's are drawn up based on peer nominations, client feedback, interviews, data provided by firms and information gathered from Spear's editorial and research teams.
