Oakham Nub News highlights the best jobs in and around our town in our recently-improved Jobs Section.

Every seven days or so, we also feature a job in greater detail through an our Job of the Week article.

This week, we have Teaching Personnell seeking a Resident Design and Technology Graduate Fellow.

They said of the role: "We are currently working with a school in the Oakham area who are looking to appoint a Resident Graduate Fellow of Design and Technology on a full time basis to join a hugely successful and collaborative department on a one year, residential contract. The school are only looking for female applicants as the person appointed will also be involved in tutoring the pupils at the boarding house

"Within this role you will be working with pupils aged between 10-16 and will be supporting the teacher in certain lessons. When confident do so, they will also take responsibility for some extra curricular enrichment activities and will also supervise exams and set pupils with after school catch up sessions.

"This role will be full time and the person appointed would also potentially have the opportunity to undergo a PGCE or equivalent course supported by the school for a candidate who is pursuing a career in teaching. In addition the candidate would also have access to free accommodation and meals during term time.

"The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic, have high professional standards, and a clear sense of teamwork. Strong administrative and organisational skills are vital in such a busy department, and the ability to work flexibly and take initiative within the team will be important."
