Their appeal on social media asks: "Do you have a passion for community radio? A local connection? Experience in radio/ blogging/ vlogging/ podcasting or voice performance? Are you looking for an exciting volunteer role?

"To join Rutland and Stamford Sound as a volunteer presenter, you need to make a demo (mp3, SoundCloud or YouTube, maximum length two minutes) and send us a link with your contact details.

"You need to be able to broadcast from home and make a regular commitment to volunteering. We'll provide full training and support from our professional team.

"To apply or for more information please contact [email protected] by 5pm on Monday 2nd August."
