An Oakham man is seeking re-election to the board of the Central England Co-op.

This particular Co-op has branches in Braunston and Burley.

In a statement on its website, he said: "I have been activate on sub committees dealing with Community Dividend and Membership and community development and more recently have joined the remuneration committee where my sights are set on improving the equitable balance of pay and benefits across your Society."

He also said: "If re-elected, I shall continue to bring rigorous and robust challenges to Executive and Board in the proper exercise of my duty as your elected Director, to ensure our strategy and financial plans are properly tested."

In a profile, Mr Chilcott outlines a range of relevant experience, including roles with the Co-op.

He is also former CEO of the Anglia Co-op, as this profile also shows.
