Oakham Mayor's Charity Dinner and Dance

The Mayor and Mayoress of Oakham are staging a charity dinner and dance next month.

The black tie event is being held at Victoria Hall on Saturday, 1 February from 7.30pm until 12 midnight and proceeds will go to the mayor's charity Sunflowers, which offers support to families with a child/children with additional needs.

The Mayor of Oakham's Dinner and Dance will feature dancing to Rutland Big Band, guests will dine on a choice of curries provided by Hungry Hogs and there will be a special appearance by Footloose Stage School.

During the evening there will also be a fundraising auction and a raffle.

Advance tickets are now on sale until 16 January and cost £168 for a table of eight or £25 each.

Tickets purchased on the door will cost £30 each.
