A sponsored walk to help a Rutland charity that supports blind people will take place next weekend.

Esther Blount, spokesman for the Vista charity, has posted on Facebook: "On Sunday 10th October at 10:30am, in partnership with Oakham school we will be hosting a sponsored walk around Rutland Water.

"Bring your family and friends along and choose from either a 23 mile or 17 mile route around the edge of the Rutland Water and raise much-need funds for Vista."
