Oakham Tesco is giving back to the community by running several initiatives to raise money for local charities this festive period.

Their third annual Community Christmas Market will take place on Saturday 7th December between 10am and 3pm, raising money for Voluntary Action Rutland. The market will include stalls from local crafters and small businesses, as well as stalls selling hot food, cake, sweets and much more. There will also be a visit from very special guest, Father Christmas, accompanied by the Rutland Lions.

In store, Oakham Tesco will also have a community coat rail. The coat rail will give those in need of a coat the opportunity to pick up one in store for free. If you have a winter coat lying around that hasn't been worn in a few years, drop it off with a colleague in Tesco to be added to the rail.

There will also be a charity collection trolley in store, collecting donations for Voluntary Action Rutland.
